one week

Of course I went and forgot my password and username for my blog!!!
Anyway, we're through a pretty successful first week of teaching at Sangamitta. This weeks been grade 6's, that's the first year of High School here. Taught them some amazing new words such as jelly beans, frozen beans, broad beans, Husky dog, sledge, mono rail, mild, hill and pushy. Along with how to play I spy and what happens after digestion. It's been fun!
Found our self a really friendly three wheeler driver, with the slowest three wheeler in town. Felt just a little stupid going up the hill home yesterday with people actually passing us on foot.
Am almost ready to start the photography project tomorrow with the grade ten girls. So everybody keep your fingers crossed.
Been eaten alive by mosquitoes, sweated my arms off, eaten far far too much rice and curry than is probably necessary, made a few new friends and settled in with our amazing new family. Couldn't really ask for more in one week.
To the vols from last year - Lemon Puffs are still as amazing as they were last year, as is the tea and fruit and nut ice cream.
